Terms of Service

Last updated: August 28, 2026. These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Tandaly LLC ("Tanda", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, starting a circle, joining a circle, using an invite link, or otherwise using Tanda, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Tanda is software for coordinating circles, rosters, rounds, receiving instructions, confirmations, reminders, support tickets, and records. Tanda helps groups keep a shared record of who is in the circle, who receives this round, who marked sent, and who confirmed receipt.

2. Non-custody

Tanda does not collect, hold, move, process, release, or guarantee money. Tanda is not a bank, money transmitter, payment processor, escrow service, lender, insurer, financial adviser, or deposit account. The pot stays with the people and groups using Tanda. Any real-world sending, receiving, or reconciliation happens directly between members through methods your group chooses.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use Tanda. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Organizers are responsible for inviting the right people and maintaining the circle roster.

4. Circle roles and records

A person may be a member of one circle and an organizer of another. Tanda records roles, order, instructions, confirmations, and history according to the actions users take. Platform operators may view and support records where needed, but they do not become circle members and cannot mark sent or confirm receipt on behalf of members.

5. Your responsibilities

You and your group are responsible for your own governance, promises, eligibility, amounts, timing, sending, receiving, taxes, registrations, and legal obligations. Tanda records what users submit; it does not independently verify every real-world payment or resolve every member dispute.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Tanda to commit fraud, launder money, impersonate people, harass others, publish misleading claims, collect for unauthorized purposes, violate law, upload unlawful content, compromise security, scrape the service, or misuse another person's information. We may suspend or remove access, circles, links, or records that create risk or violate these Terms.

7. Fees, plans, and trials

Some Tanda features may require a paid software plan. Fees are for software access and record coordination only. Fees are never a cut of contributions, dues, pots, gifts, or support. Trials, grace periods, seat caps, and pricing may change with reasonable notice.

8. Proof, confirmations, and disputes

Proof notes or screenshots can help a group review what happened, but proof does not replace receiver confirmation. A marked-sent record means a user said they sent. A confirmed-receipt record means the receiver said they received. If a receiver says they did not receive, the group remains responsible for resolving the real-world issue.

9. Third-party services

Tanda may link to or work with third-party services, including Google sign-in, email providers, hosting providers, storage providers, mobile operating systems, WhatsApp links, payment providers, banks, and mobile money services. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. Tanda is not responsible for third-party services.

10. Intellectual property

Tanda and its software, design, names, logos, and content are owned by Tandaly LLC or its licensors. You keep responsibility for the information and content you submit, and you give Tanda permission to host, process, display, and transmit it as needed to operate the service.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information. By using Tanda, you agree that we can process information as described there.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Tanda at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe there is a violation of these Terms, security risk, legal risk, unpaid software balance, misuse, or operational need. Shared group history may remain available to authorized people where needed to preserve the record.

13. Disclaimers

Tanda is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any group contribution, receipt, collection, or outcome will happen. Tanda does not provide legal, tax, accounting, investment, insurance, or financial advice.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tanda and its owners, employees, contractors, and providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of funds, contributions, profits, data, goodwill, or opportunity arising from or related to your use of Tanda. Tanda's total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to Tanda for the service in the 12 months before the claim.

15. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold Tanda harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your use of Tanda, your group activity, your records, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or another person's rights.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms as the product and law change. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
